Unfortunately most shedsonly seem to become a dumping place for garden items such as furniture and BBQs but the shed of the year competition has sparked many of you to change this. A Bolton Wanderers fan and Tattoo Artist, David Taylor, has turned his shed into a shine to his much-loved football club.
Named The Tattooed Arms, it also started when he kitted his shed out for the 2010 World Cup and now it has been upgraded to a fully working pub that boasts three lagers on draught, wi-fi, a television, a 20,000-song karaoke machine and a toilet. A vast amount of Bolton Wanderers memorabilia covers the walls and aptly sets the football theme. “Me and my close friends did it to watch the football in. Then we just had a brainwave and decided to get a bigger shed to make it into a pub as well. ” said Taylor.
It’s not just a pub for his friends as a number of former players have even stopped for a pint, such as Gretar Steinsson, Mark Davies and Ricardo Gardner. This is one of the reasons that the shed is up for Shed of the Year 2012!
